I was
disappointed recently doing a search for playgrounds in Toledo. While the
Metroparks list if they have playground
equipment, what they have and pictures of it were nowhere to be found. Also city parks were located in there own web pages and also with little information.
So I thought that I would take my daughter on a "tour" of local playground and document what they had to offer and take some pictures as well.
I'm glad you did this because I was also having hard time finding pictures of Toledo playgrounds. However, I'm doing this for a research project to see if some playgrounds are nearby Brownfields Properties which are hazardous for kids (go to EPA website, Clean up in my community to learn more about these properties). So my goal is to find out how many playgrounds are near these hazardous areas but without having to drive around the whole city. So, thanks for these pictures, they are sure useful to me.
